Terms of Service

1. Engagement

These terms govern the freelance software development services provided by Alagarsamy M. By commissioning a project, you agree to these terms unless superseded by a separate written contract.

2. Scope of Services

Services are defined in the specific project proposal or agreement and may incude web development, mobile app development, API integration, and technical consulting. Any work outside the agreed scope will be subject to a new agreement or additional fees.

3. Deliverables & Acceptance

I will deliver the software/codebase as described in the project specifications. You will have a defined period (typically 7-14 days) to test the deliverables. If no issues are reported within this period, the project is deemed accepted.

4. Payments

A deposit may be required to commence work, with the balance due upon completion/milestone delivery. Rights to the code transfer to you only upon full payment of the agreed fees.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you are granted exclusive usage and ownership rights to the final custom code developed for you. I retain the right to reuse generic code snippets, libraries, or tools developed prior to or independently of your specific project.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide necessary assets, access, and feedback in a timely manner. Delays in providing these materials may result in adjustments to the project timeline.

7. Warranty & Liability

I warrant that the software will perform substantially in accordance with the specifications at the time of delivery. However, software is provided "as is". I am not liable for bugs caused by third-party updates, server issues, or unauthorized modifications after delivery. My liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific project.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice. You agree to pay for all work completed up to the date of termination.
